Why did I get charged for a failed transaction?

If your payment failed but you can see a charge on your account, it may be one of the two reasons below:

1. Your card issuer is holding the declined charge in a pending state while the payment resolves. Those funds will return to your card within 1-10 business days.
2. You were charged a small, temporary, verification fee. Those funds will return to your card within 1-10 business days.
